Abstract
Financijski izvještaji predstavljaju službene dokumente koji prikazuju financijske informacije o performansama poduzeća tijekom određenog vremenskog razdoblja. Ovi izvještaji imaju ključnu ulogu u procesima donobenja poslovnih odluka, procjeni rizika te u komunikaciji s različitim dionicima kao što su investitori, vjerovnici, dioniari i nadzorne institucije. U ovom diplomskom radu analizirat će se teorijski aspekti financijskih izvještaja kroz primjenu vertikalne i horizontalne analize, analizu pojedinačnih financijskih pokazatelja, sintetičkih pokazatelja i pokazatelja stvaranja nove vrijednosti. Odabrana poduzeća koja će biti analizirana su poduzeća Valamar Riviera d.d. i Arena Hospitality Group d.d. tokom 2019. i 2020. godine. Upotrebom različitih analitičkih metoda, posebice istraživanjem pokazatelja stvaranja nove vrijednosti, razmotrit će se rezultati i zaključci o poslovanju tih turističkih poduzeća prije i tijekom Covid-19.
Abstract (english)
Financial statements represent official documents that present financial information about a company's performance during a specific period. These reports play a crucial role in the decision-making process, risk assessment, and communication with various stakeholders such as investors, creditors, shareholders, and regulatory authorities. This graduate thesis will analyze the theoretical aspects of financial statements through the application of vertical and horizontal analysis, analysis of individual financial indicators, synthetic indicators, and indicators of value creation. The selected companies that will be analyzed are Valamar Riviera d.d. and Arena Hospitality Group d.d. during the years 2019 and 2020. By employing various analytical methods, particularly by examining indicators of value creation, the results and conclusions regarding the performance of these tourism companies before and during the Covid-19 pandemic will be considered.
