Abstract
Pojava off shore financijskih centara proizlazi iz razvoja svjetske trgovine. Kao jedan od najvažnijih razloga pojavljivanja navode se napori da se izbjegne financijska i politička regulacija. Razloge osnivanja off shore kompanija treba tražiti u poreznim beneficijama, jednostavnošću formacije, anonimnosti, neopterećenošću podnošenja financijskih obračuna ili revizorskih izvješća, mogućnosti osiguravanja financijske podrške kod kupnje vlastitih dionica i raznim drugim pogodnostima koje su... More poduzećima i pojedincima uskraćene ili ograničene u njihovim domicilnim državama. Svi off shore financijski centri imaju jedno zajedničko obilježje: oni nude vrlo niske porezne stope i slabe propise za pravne i fizičke osobe sa sjedištem u inozemstvu s ciljem privlačenja inozemne financijske imovine. Predmet ovog diplomskog rada su off shore financijski centri čije poslovanje je prikazano i analizirano kroz dva primjera iz prakse: Kajmanskih i Bermudskih otoka. The emergence of offshore financial centers stems from the development of world trade. As one of the most important reasons for appearances, are the efforts being made to avoid financial and political regulation. The reasons for the establishment of offshore companies should be sought in tax benefits, ease of formation, anonymity, lack of financial statements or audit reports, financial support options for the acquisition of own shares and various other benefits that are deprived or... All offshore financial centers have a common feature: they offer very low tax rates and weak regulations for non-residents with the goal of attracting foreign financial assets. The subject of this graduate thesis is offshore financial centers whose business is presented and analyzed through two examples of practice: Cayman and Bermuda Islands. The purpose of the research is to determine the regularity of business through offshore financial centers.
