There are a number of legal transactions in everyday life, so it is extremely important to regulate them. In this context, the competent law (Civil Obligations Act) has been adopted in Croatia. The Civil Obligations Act regulates the principles of obligatory relations and contractual and noncontractual obligations. An obligatory relationship is a legal relationship between two persons, one of whom is a creditor and is authorized to demand from the other person (the debtor) a certain act which the debtor is obliged to fulfill. Therefore, certain contracts have been created as legal transactions of two or more parties, which must have certain characteristics and mandatory contents. One of these contracts is a contract of sale, which can be found in many forms these days. Which form of sale will be used at any given time depends on the nature and the type of business being negotiated, the object being transacted, and the like. Accordingly, the subject of this paper is to describe the types of sales contracts that may arise in legal transactions.
