Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je prikazati carinski sustav Europske unije koji se sastoji od carinske politike, carinskih postupaka, načina prihvaćanja robe pa sve do carinskih dokumenata. Ukratko će se opisati važnost nastanka Europske unije, razloge nastanka povezane s jedinstvenim tržištem i uvjetima za nastanak carinskog sustava. Važan je i pojam trgovinske politike među zemljama članicama i Europske unije prema trećim zemljama, kao i važnost carine u trgovinskoj politici, čime će se stvoriti uvod u razradu glavne problematike rada. Carinski sustav Europske unije je dinamičan i stalno se tehnološki unaprjeđuje, a nove ideje korisnicima sustava olakšavaju rad, pa tako govorimo i o sustavima prikupljanja podataka o robnoj razmjeni, ali i o aplikacijama za ispunjavanje carinskih deklaracija. Na primjeru Republike Hrvatske kao najmlađe članice Europske unije opisati će se promjene kroz koje je ona prošla kako bi se uklopila u carinsku stečevinu Europske unije.
Abstract (english)
Main aim is to show the customs system of the European Union trough explaining terms like customs policy, customs procedures, methods used for handling the goods and customs documents. Here will be briefly described the importance of establishing the European Union, the reasons behind establishing European Union and its relation to customs system. The commercial policy between European Union and its countries and between European Union and third counties is important to mention so that it can provide an introduction to the main topic in this paper. The Custom Systems of the European Union is dynamic and constantly envolving, so that it makes it easier for system users to work. In the end of the paper there will be described how Croatia, as a new member of the European Union, managed to change its customs acquisition to fit to the ones of the European Union.
